It looks like they are building a parking garage, but I don't know that for sure. Driving Directions to Firewheel Town Center: The Firewheel Town Center is located on the northeast corner of State Highway 190 (President George Bush Turnpike) and State Highway 78 in Garland. General Firewheel Town Center Information: The town center opened in October 7th 2005 and is an open-air "plaza / mall" that was created to look like a main street in a small town, that even has a 65 foot clock tower. In addition to the 100+ stores the town center also features a small park with play area for the kids and a really pretty fountian with Koi fish.
